I've been pregnant 5 times. Got pregnant easily all 5 times, 1st two were miscarriages. I was 28 for first three pregnancies, 30 for 4th and 40 for 5th. Long line of very fertile women. |
Not sure why you care. No different than 'when did your kid STTN?' or 'when did you lose the baby weight?' Different for all, but anecdotes are interesting! |
I conceived my first easily... although now I see that "easily" is very subjective. It took me 3 months after getting off of BC w/o any charting or OPks. I thought 3 months was "easy", but that is subjective, I guess.
I'm still trying for my second, and it's been awfully, heartbreakingly long. Now over a year. Had a MC in the fall, so my doctor said that was a good sign of fertility. Not doing any medical interventions. Just OPKs now. FWIW, I think that it is perfectly valid to ask a question even if it has been asked before. I think oftentimes we just want to know that we are not alone and getting responses in semi-real time helps us connect and feel that we are not alone. It's true that you can do a search, but the effect isn't quite the same. Besides, new people can have new experiences to add to the conversation. |
With DC #1 I got pregnant on the first try. Literally before we were even officially trying, but the first month after I went off the Nuvaring. With #2 it took about 6 months of active trying, using a fertility monitor. There were 2.5 years between the pregnancies -- I was 35 the first time and almost 38 the second time, so that may have had something to do with it. |
OP here - thanks all. I was 31 and 32 the first two times I got pregnant (one mc). Now 35 .. |
