I know a girl Micah and her mom is Jewish. |
It's one of my favorite names, and I don't think you'll have trouble with people thinking he's a girl. I wish I could use it, but it sounds too much like my husband's name! |
Love it. It is definitely a boy name, and not too Jewish (I'm Jewish as well and didn't want anything TOO Jewish so I understand where you're coming from.) |

I like it a lot. And I've never met or heard of a girl named Micah - only Mika with the long E pronunciation. I would definitely assume a child named Micah was a boy. |
We are at a Jewish preschool. There is one boy Micah and one girl Micah. The name is lovely for either. |
Love it!!! Sounds Jewish to me. I think that's why I love it so much!!! Awesome choice to go with. |
I like it. I know one who is both Jewish and male so I associate it with being Jewish and male.
I don't know if other people think it is female. I like many Jewish names and am considering naming my son Saul, which is at least somewhat Jewish, although we are not. |
Love it! |
I know a female Micah from a non-Jewish family.

Micah is a girl's name |
There were lots of Micah's where I grew up (suburban NYC) I think all of them were Jewish but I dont know if names are really aligned with culture anymore, (e.g. plenty of non-Irish naming their kids Reilly these days, or Isabelle even if not French). Good name! |
I know an adult female Micah (not sure if she's Jewish) and a toddler non-Jewish boy Micah.
I think of it more of a boy's name, and I think it's a good one. |
Not in the Old Testament. |
I know two Micahs--one is a Jewish 30-something man and one is a non-Jewish 20-something woman. I actually like the name a lot. |
