My kid was nuts about them.

My 10 year old will still watch Wild Kratts. I don't think we've watched them all. We do also watch the random nature shows on Amazon Prime and I just found Odd Squad the other day.

Have you tried Scooby Doo on boomerang? My boy loves it. I love the "what's new Schooby Doo" - made kinda recently. They are well behaved. You'd also be surprised has to how often they are saving an animal.

Last year we got my then 9 year old a subscription to national geographic. It's still heavy reading for a 3rd grader, but it's more "magazine" than journal now and all about animals and nature. Well worth the $20 and we had outgrown the "kid" magazines. Sometimes he just reads the graphics - which are very informative.

My 8 yo is into Odd Squad too!

We have also started watching some shows together: Amazing Race, Master Chef Junior, My Cat from Hell (animal planet), and America's Got Talent. I don't want her watching the tween crap on Disney Channel, so these seem like a good alternative.

THere are lots of great animal/nature shows on Saturday AM. Check the major network line ups, including the CW. I actually enjoy watching several of the shows with my kids

I've got two boys that were obsessed with Wild Kratts.

They now watch Animal Planet. They're 8 and 10.
