It does not compare to actual Parisian pastries. |
I know several French expats who swear by this place. |
Non. |
|
| Paul--they have shops in Paris and here. Yum. |
|
Le Caprice in Columbia Heights. The only thing that isn't authentic is the super-friendly owners and staff. Nary a gallic scowl in the place.
facebook.com/lecapricedc (I love the pictures they post) |
| Paul. It's as close as you can get. |
+100000!!! Best French bakery this side of France!
|
| Add me to the chorus for Le Caprice in Columbia Heights. The pastries are great (and it's also a great place to go with kids, versus Paul for example). |
| If any Marylanders are reading and interested...Bonaparte in Savage and Baltimore is wonderful. |
Yes. First wonderful croissant since I moved here from NYC. |
| I just tried Le Caprice last week for the first time, and it was fabulous. Will be back very soon. |
| +1 for Le caprice! |
| Paul - I love, love, love Paul and am so happy to have it in the US finally!!! |
Ha -- I see they just opened one in Tysons 2 --.... I'll have to check this Paul fellow out... |
