AAP Proposal for Thoreau MS - what happens to Luther Jackson MS?

Which version of the numbers add up? The new ones from today? Or the ones from last week? All the other numbers are just Sooooo Last Year.

I have a student at LJ. I think the program would be much, much weaker there without the Vienna kids. It would be a sad loss for all the children involved to have them split between Thoreau and Luther Jackson.

If you think a center at Thoreau in September is a bad idea, please email your school board now and tell them so.

Conversely, if you think it's a great ida, you could e-mail the School Board members now as well. Pat Hynes, the Hunter Mill representative, is already on board as fully supporting the opening of the Thoreau center this fall, so you might want to focus on other Board members.
