| Totally didn't buy that he did not pressure his teammates to dope. |
| No doping in his comeback years? Pleeeease. |
| His take on it: win at all costs, you come after me I come after you. It's all in the game. Lance Armstrong = Stringer Bell. Plenty of folks in prison with attitudes like his. |

I couldn't even watch it (for long). He is such a narcissist that he can't even really fake any form of empathy or feelings for others. That interview was incredibly insincere and lacked any genuine guilt or repentance.
I have never thought he had any integrity or character (the whole cheating on his wife) so always assumed he also was fine with cheating in other areas of life so never doubted he doped. Many people who have affair are narcissist, being unable to care about how their actions might impact others. This interview though really showed how coldhearted and indifferent he is to the impact of what he did. |
| Bad PR move. wonder who suggested he do it. |
I heart you |
| He must be pretty desperate and thought, well, this can't hurt and may help. |
|
What turned me off was his lack of emotion. It was like he was riding another race. You would think he would show visible sign of pain or regret, lose his train of thought or something.
I can't believe how many hours I wasted on his books and watching him race. Maybe I should sue for damages. After all he says they sue everybody so I guess I would be putting his advice to use. |
| There really must be something "off" with him. I was discussing this with my husband a few weeks ago- how else could a normal person accept awards, accolades, admiration, praise, etc. knowing he didn't deserve it?? He had people (children even!) worshiping him, and it was for something he did not do! My conscience just wouldn't allow it. I could not live my life like that as a fraud. It's amazing to me that he could for so long. |
|
| He isn't a sociopath, he's a classic narcissist. They're scary as Hell. I feel the worst for his kids. The psychological damage he's done to his kids is colossal. |
+1 |
Well, the first two are criticisms of behavior. If she's a liar and a bitch, that's fair game. But fat is a physical observation, so it's not really the quite thing. Even if she is fat, you don't acknowldge that. She knows it. Being fat is worse than being a liar or a bitch. |
Exactly. Classic narcissist. Truly believe they are justified in everything they do. No empathy or conscience. Sick. Evil even. |
| Why did he out himself? |
