| Return it or go to customer service. Anytime I've had an issue with their products they give me a refund or a replacement. Easy peasy. |
| Yup, take them back. $2 is way too much to just throw them away. |
|
You waited way too long.
Avocados are like a 2-3 days MAX wait-time food. Longer than that and you will get exactly what you describe. The good news is that WF's customer service is top-notch, and they will gladly give you a refund. Just don't wait so long next time! |
I guess you go to a shitty giant then? Not sure what to tell you. |
Let them ripen on the countertop and then stick them in the fridge for 2 or three days until you're ready to use them. |
|
Take them back.
|
only bought 2 (so only 1 left). and its like a 40 minute walk from my house with baby in tow...so not worth returning |
no, but i've had those meaty avocado monsters (the color of the avocado I got was light like the fl ones but these looked like regular sized ones) |
|
Call them and tell them. They may offer you a credit by phone or mail you a gift card. I did this once with Giant (for out of date frozen food) and they were really good about it. I'd wager a guess that Wholefoods woudl be good too.
BTW, I have returned an avocado before. To Marvelous Market. They were really good about it too and quite apologetic. |

which ones are the fake ones?

| I would request a refund on both. What have you got to lose? Besides $2. |
| I always return stuff to whole foods without my receipt. |
| I always buy avocados a little unripe, and let them ripen on my counter so that I can check to see when they are best. A little old lady in a Hispanic store once told me that the way to check is to press it. It should feel like your nose, soft with a firm core, not like your cheek (too soft) or your forehead (too hard) |
| When you return the rotted avocados do you mind also returning some rotted peppers for me? They're wrapped. |
| Yes, march right into that WF and demand your $2! |
