If you are on a tight budget / live paycheck to paycheck, what do you continue to splurge on?

We do not live paycheck to paycheck but the budget is tight.
We do buy our dairy products (and meat, occasionally) from SMC.
We do most of the rest of our grocery shopping at WF (as frugally as possible - I feed 3 on about $30 SMC + $80 WF a week). We like good food.
I spend 30/month on a gym when there's a perfectly good one at work for 30/year. But they do not have spin or bodypump or boot camp and those things keep me motivated.
DH and I both have iPhones. And we have cable, albeit the cheapy plan where we only have 4,000 channels instead of 38,000.

For less than the cost of one tank of gas, you can go to a car parts store and buy new bright replacement headlights. The instructions for replacing them are in the owner's manual for your car. If you no longer have the owner's manual, the owner's manual for most cars are now on-line and you can look it up for free via Google. My wife used to hate the headlights on her car, but she didn't mention it to me. Finally one of the headlights went out. I realized how older the bulbs were and replaced both of them. She was amazed how bright the new headlights were and how much it helped her driving at night. I asked why she hadn't mentioned the problems with the headlights and she said she didn't think anything could be done about it. Now she tells me problems with the car when they come up and I tell her if it's something I can something about or we need to have the car taken to a shop to be done.

Like the other poster, we have a monthly cleaner. It's the best $80 I've ever spent. No cable, no cell data plan, live in a tiny apartment, have beans and rice pretty continuously, but I need the cleaner. It forces us to keep the house up some and saves us a TON of evening time because we can keep things up with clorox wipes and swiffer instead of the scrub brush and mop.

I get it; it gets him out of the office, gives him a break. $30 or so a week isn't necessarily going to break us, and the benefits to him are enough that I would hate to make a big deal about it.

This is very kind and IMO an example of true love.

Not OP of this comment, but a new PP- thanks for posting this. Sometimes I feel like complaining at DH for doing this, but he enjoys it, and we can swing it, so I will keep my mouth shut.

I get a cheap Giant Foods steak once every two weeks. Redbox! Addicted to that thing.
