I drive the gas guzzler to work instead of the clunker. The clunker is lighter on gas, but the lights are not so bright and it has already spun one time. I feel safer in the gas guzzler, has more of a grip on the road
For less than the cost of one tank of gas, you can go to a car parts store and buy new bright replacement headlights. The instructions for replacing them are in the owner's manual for your car. If you no longer have the owner's manual, the owner's manual for most cars are now on-line and you can look it up for free via Google. My wife used to hate the headlights on her car, but she didn't mention it to me. Finally one of the headlights went out. I realized how older the bulbs were and replaced both of them. She was amazed how bright the new headlights were and how much it helped her driving at night. I asked why she hadn't mentioned the problems with the headlights and she said she didn't think anything could be done about it. Now she tells me problems with the car when they come up and I tell her if it's something I can something about or we need to have the car taken to a shop to be done.
