| PP again. Or try putting insoles in anything. |

What qualities are you looking for in the shoes you're looking to buy? And what can't you stand in shoes? That might help us direct you toward some more attractive options.
Also - how old are you, how conservative a dresser are you, are there any people whose style you like, etc? |
I really like all of the choices here. You are right, I definitely couldn't handle the heel on the second pair. I have a pair of clarks that has a heel that size and I don't wear them. I'll look on the clarks website again. I'll report back. |
I'm looking for something comfortable first and foremost. I walk A LOT during the day and if my shoes are not comfortable they'll end up sitting in the closet. I got a pair of these http://www.ninewest.com/Caress/6279317,default,pd.html?variantSizeClass=&variantColor=JJ4XEFB&cgid=8346252&prefn1=catalog-id&prefv1=ninewest-catalog&ep_tag=PMPH3 put them on for 10 minutes and they are sitting in the bag to be returned. I thought they were adorable, but the heel is just too much. I'm 34, dress fairly conservatively (slacks and cotton tops most of the time). I work in an office where huge fashion statements are probably not a good idea, but slacks, one tone dresses and pretty tops are probably best. |

OP here again. Something like this would probably be ok
http://www.talbots.com/online/browse/product_details.jsp?id=prdi30051 I know it's not the most exciting outfit, but as I said before, I really suck at putting stuff together so i never venture out. |
|
Sorry OP, the sweater looks like upholstery/ curtain fabric in a hunting lodge-type place.
Why not stick to solids/ colorblock if you are conservative? |
I do stick to solids most of the time for the fear that I'll pick out something as evidenced above. How about this http://www.talbots.com/online/browse/product_details.jsp?id=prdi29974. I honestly welcome any suggestions. When I think of myself, I never think "hip, young, fashionable." I always think I dress like I'm 55 and I'm trying to change that. |
|
No to all of the shoes on this threat. JUST. SAY. NO.
Get a pair of plain 2 inch pumps if you don't want to be trendy, but stay away from all these other shoes. |
I take that back...I love the leopard pumps posted...but not sure if the OP will go for it. |
| Can we move this thread to the Over 50 Forum? lol |
Which ones are those? OP here. |
See where I said above that I feel like I look 55? Now you see why? For the love of God help me! Don't move it anywhere! |
| Check out youlookfab.com. The blogger is a professional stylist with gorgeous shoes and she only wears comfy, low-heeled shoes. |
Will do. Thanks so much!!!! |
| The first pair you posted could work if you were wearing some retro/vintage dresses, but if not it would be hard to pull off . |
