If you want to make sure you don't miss due dates on bills, put reminders into an outlook calendar (if your work uses outlook) so that they'll come up. I set reminders to come up a week before the due date, and I pay the bills online at that time. (making sure it's a day i'll be at work so I don't miss the reminder.)

for bills that are always the same amount and don't need to be reviewed monthly, you might want to set up autopay. I do that for my mortgage, student loan, etc. I like to see my phone bills, etc. before I pay them, because sometimes they are incorrect.
