Mine is 8. I have been eyeing a kitchen item for months but am too cheap to buy it. She wrote to Santa this year and I read it. I never read her diary etc. but I have to read this to find out what she wants.
She asked Santa to bring me the kitchen gadget! |
This is so sweet. Please buy it for yourself for Christmas, PP! My 8 year old said to me today: "I do believe in Santa, but I sure would like some proof!" |
| 5 and 8, they still believe. Similar to a PP, 8 year old included a specific gift for her brother in her Christmas list. 5 year old said to me today that one of his friends said Santa isn't real. He seemed to think that was about the most ridiculous thing he's ever heard. |
Gag. |
| 7 (first grade) and 4.5. It is a sweet year. |
| 8 and she still believes, though I think she's on the fence at times... |
| Lol your kids are very smart and I suspect a good portion of parents are very guillable. |
| My children are 10, 7, and 5 and they all believe. It is great Christmas at our house with so much fun and magic. I know the 10yo has doubts, but he is not ready to not believe. I am treasuring this year with them all still believing as I know it could be the last. |
| My 10 year old is also on the fence, as he has questions here and there. Just yesterday, he and DH were out Christmas shopping, and DH said "I just need to get a few stocking stuffers". DS said "Do you buy those, or does Santa put them in?". DH realized his oops moment, and said, "I just like to put a few extra in for Mommy". Little did he know, I've been telling the kids for years that Santa only brings for kids, lol. This is for sure our last year for DS, I am pretty sure he is just going along with it this year. |
My 7 yr old told me that some kids at school say that Santa is really your parents and that there is no way one man could deliver presents to every child in just one night, etc. I said there was no way I could afford to give him all of those presents and he agreed He says the Santa at the mall isn't real and is just a helper.

Way to squash those critical thinking skills! *thumbs up* |

My 12 year old is holding on, but I think she knows. We will let her have one more Christmas, and then she will join her big sisters, 14 and 16, as a helper.
The 10, 8, 6, 4, 2, and 7 month olds are all profound believers. But they know Santa Claus is really St. Nicholas, so that helps. |
Oh my! With 9 children, you must have a very lively home - kudos! |
I think i know who you are. is your family jewish?
|
| My first never believed. He looked at me like I was nuts even when he was little. My 3 year old believes. |
