What $500-$1000 gift do you want?

I would like an ipad or the wide angle zoom for my SLR camera i have been coveting but putting off because it's... well...for me. DH will never buy me either one of these things. He didn't even want to get an ipad for the family as a family gift. Oh well...

But while I'm dreaming, I'd probably prefer an iPad and a gift certificate for a bunch of massages.

No one buys me a present remotely worth this much money.

Ditto.

Wow. I had to look that up. $650 for a pan! How would you use it?

It is beautiful.

A digital piano. There's a well-reviewed one for $500 that would be fine.

Alternatively, a full interior re-paint for my house. Can that be done for under $1000?

One year dh bought me a $600 wallet. I was furious then, but I love it everyday and will have it for 20 years I'm sure.

Shopping spree at a real store (like not Ann Taylor, j crew or outlets). Maybe $1000 is one nice outfit.

Oh, so many things. Risotto, braises, reducing stock, roasts. It's really an all-purpose pan. I would polish it daily and include it in all family portraits.
