| Thanks everyone. I would just like to safely handle household items without worrying about lead and other toxic substances. Why does Cali have labels saying if you eat at a restaurant, it might cause cancer? Does anyone eat out there? LOL. I am just really annoyed. Why would Cali have these labels if they were not valid? |

OP here, I found out IKEA makes lead free xmas lights and so does an online company: http://www.environmentallights.com/led-christmas-lights/lead-free-led-christmas-lights/mini-conical-wide-angle/14627-5mm50multi-4.html
Apparently you have to buy lights that are "RoHS compliant". In europe, they do not allow Xmas lights with lead. |
