| We did a five day transfer of one and got identical twins. The others didn't progress to day 6 for freezing. It really does only take one...and with that one, we got two. |

Yes, it only takes one 
At age 40, with FSH level of 44, after one failed IUI and two IVFs, got pregnant after third IVF cycle. Almost cancelled, as only got 3 eggs, and only two fertilized for transfer. Now have an absolutely beautiful 4-year old daughter. And crazy things can happen...for me, had two natural pregnancies after that, OMG. Now also have 2-year old and 1-year old boys!! Would never have dreamt this. Stay positive, and just do the best you can. Take good care of yourself, and give yourself a break/time out -- even from family and friends during the holidays if you need it. Good luck! |

| I posted earlier about my beta following NCIVF, which transferred one 5 day blast with initial beta of 83. We have more than doubled and will have first sono next week. |
