You are making the wrong comparison, but the answer is what I bolded. If you want a full-sized iPad, you will obviously get a full-sized iPad. The Mini is for people who don't want a full-sized iPad. Why wouldn't they want a full-sized iPad? I have no idea, but there are obviously people who don't given the already strong Mini sales. When the iPad came out, it was dinged for simply being "a big iPad Touch." Now, the Mini is being criticized for being nothing more than a "small iPad 2." As gets pointed out in, ahem, another forum on this site, size does matter. As a result, size considerations will drive purchases. |
My husband has an ipad and I just don't get the appeal at all. |
I ordered one this morning. I wanted an Ipad for the app/media compatibility, but a smaller device so I can carry it in my purse and use it as a reader. |
I thought the iPad 3 was the one Apple didn't want to support anymore. |
