We borrowed out friend's outdoor cat and had lots of success!
The traps we used when living in the Midwest are metal, the size of 2 shoeboxes, you put some peanut butter on the inside middle balance floor, and set the open door. The rodent goes in, sets off the balance and the door closes! |

| OP here. Thanks for the tips! Our cat refuses to go outside for more than 5 minutes, so she's no help at all. |
