If you own a Le Creuset pan of any kind, which color did you get?

I love most of the colors, but my pieces are all a royal blue color for one reason: the first Le Creuset piece I ever got was a Dutch oven I found at a Goodwill in Florida for a mere $15. I had always wanted one but hadn't been able to justify the cost and could not believe my good luck in finding one for only $15. And I still love that thing! I found it totally by chance so had no say in the color, and I suppose I could have just had a bunch of mismatched pieces, but I wanted them to match, so all the Le Creuset pieces I own now are the same shade of blue. Luckily, I do like the color a great deal. (Just looked and the official color on the Le Creuset site is Cobalt.)

I went with red. I love cooking with my Le Creuset. It makes me happy.

Flame of course. Will always go with any Decor. Ages very well with the transitional color scheme of red to orange.
We have the very large round Dutch oven only, but if we added on new pieces I may consider other colors. It is just for the quintessential LC Dutch oven, ya gotta go with flame

I saw one of these in Homegoods with a deep discount, hmm... maybe I should have bought it! I am thinking of asking for one of these for xmas, what do you guys make in them?

Should I do it?!?!

What do you Le Creuset lovers think about the knockoffs that appear sometimes? Tried them? Inferior or fine?

Red. And I love my Le Creuset, but it is very very heavy. Just something to keep in mind as it is a great addition, but I find that it doesn't replace my pots/pans entirely.

I have a few pieces in flame, one in blue, one in yellow, another in brown. I got all of them at goodwill in Washington state 15+ years ago. My biggest one, the flame oval dutch oven was maybe $10. I have 2 round dutch ovens and 2 casseroles.

I have a cobalt blue one bought in 1999. I recently got one on Marseille (a lighter blue). The bottoms of both have discolored with use, but I think the cobalt one looks better -- so my take is that the lighter color ones make look worse more quickly. Both continue to function perfectly and I love them!

I agree. I really only use my dutch oven when I make soup or stew. I still have a regular set of pots and pans that I use for most everything else. I do love my dutch oven though.
