Agreed. He made himself look like a complete a**hole when he said that. It's also just a very memorable statement/easy to grasp concept. Not a smart move.

I'm sure he kicks puppies as well.

Ha! At least we know he drives off with them on the roof of his car...

Seriously? My kid has big bird in probably four different sizes, let Seseme St thrive on their liscencing (sic) of toothbrushes, sheets, toys, Halloween costumes, books, games...need I go on?

Spend an hour at Target and you can find every single character on PBS, time to get off the teet, Snuffy.

And now there are tons of Save Big Bird pictures flying through the interwebs.

Please. Most people in the US have no idea what PBS is. Now they do know Discovery, National Geographic, Military Channel and History Channel.

Like companies wouldn't fight to carry Seasame Street and Downton Abby.

Give me a break - do you really believe your own bullsh*t? I mean, really? Do you really believe it? You are crazy. Have a drink.

You can't pretend to care about PBS if you don't know that it's DownTON Abbey.

Good. Sesame Street has turned into liberal propaganda. It doesn't need to be subsidized by my tax dollars.

And you know where that money goes? To the nonprofit Sesame Workshop which helps kids learn to read here and all over the world. Do you think Kevin Clash is getting rich off this?

It's 15% of their funding. If you love these shows so much, donate.

Many many things are accomplished without federal money. Most of human endeavor.

Not with Romney's tax plan, you won't. He'd limit itemized deductions to $17,000, leaving no room for people with a mortgage in these parts to write off their charitable contributions.

As I said in another post here that no one has responded to, it's the only meme that matters from the debate.

That and, yeah, Romney "won" performance-wise.

Still, he'll kill Big Bird. He kills everything he loves. Remember that the next time he talks about how he loves the country.
