It was like I was Ashton Kutcher on my own episode of punk'd. |
You idiots, I really don't Google my zingers, are you incapable of casual debate without outside resources? Goodness, get over yourself. |
NP. I'd have to point out that the phrase as you quoted it, is not only inaccurate. It actually makes no sense. |
You think we have to Google to know that you got it wrong? That's even worse. If you had said "Shoot, I hit Submit too quickly; that was embarrassing," I'd say "Yeah, that happens to me too." But to double down on your ignorance is --- I don't know what to call it --- shall we say Romneyesque? |
wow...how pathetic. and you are actually really proud of yourself for this behavior? what an idiot |
Really. Here you are posting over and over again on anonymous board, and you have a problem with someone who wants to give their point of view to people actually working on a campaign. The nerve! I suppose she should also not write their congressman. |
why dont you try actually volunteering for a campaign instead of preaching on an anonymous message board and then patting yourself on the back for being an indignant blowhard... you are embarassing... you are just too full of yourself and your arogant 'my views are the best' attitude' to see it. |
The anonymity of these posts has me reeling; I don't know who's on which side. Maybe you CAN fool all of the people all of the time if everyone is anonymous. |
My view is that politicians shamelessly waste our time with calls and polls, fill our inboxes and mail boxed with junk. Whatever one of their micro targeted victims wants to do with that is their prerogative. |
Ask if the politician has no money of his own? Can he not sell his motorbike, that way you will not have to sell your bicycle.
I have descided to give money to a policitician once I have a house as big as the one that the politician has |
Huh? ![]() ![]() ![]() |
Same here, I'm in Alexandria and my precinct voted for Obama by 94% and I donated to him in the last election, multiple times. I get fliers from Romney and two or three of the conservative SuperPACs. They aren't doing a very good job. |
i think the micro targeting could have something to do with your demographics (age, sex, occupation, etc) more than party affiliation.
so while, im sure they target republicans, maybe they also get down to targeting white males, in their 50's, college educated, making X amount a year and think that this group is swayed to vote one way or the other. im just guessing here because it doesnt make sense to contact democrats unless they fit somewhere in some target group |
Why on earth would they not check the voter rolls? What's the point of micro-targeting if they don't look at the obvious? I'm not giving to Romney after writing checks to Obama. It's publicly available information. |
again, i think they do separate targeting where they look at voter rolls for example and contact republicans only and make sure they come out to vote. same thing with independents in that you trying to "convince" them to go romney in a swing state you maybe do a deeper dig and target a demographic known to sway one way or the other regardless of party. im just guessing here so im not saying im right. it just makes sense why they probably would contact you. that or they are just plain fucking stupid. |
