Yes it exists. Where have you been? |

Good grief people. Have you been out shopping lately? They are everywhere this season from Old Navy to Neiman's. You don't have to be rude about it or make a crack about bolo ties. (And with all the love for Frye boots on this board I'm surprised people are snotty about something they think looks Western.)
They may not be to your taste, but you don't need to snark in response to an innocent and polite question. |
| what is the difference between chambray and denim? i am so confused... |
| You need to look like a supermodel to carry off this look. Otherwise, you look like a frumpy mom with no fashion sense. |
| So untrue - it is a cute style that anyone can rock. Just don't wear mom jeans. |

Denim on denim is hot this year. In general fall is going to be about menswear/utility inspired clothing (khaki, shearling, duck boots, etc)
I like to wear my very light chambray shirt with dark skinnies rolled at the ankle and oxfords or leopard flats. Add a red lip and shake your hair out and you're good to go. There will be some people who think Canadian tuxedo but it just means they're not down with the trends

PS: BTW, bolo ties ARE also in right now! Though I wouldn't wear them with a denim on denim look.

Totally in!

| I think this look is one that needs to fit with your vibe to work properly. You need to be a little edgy to pull it off correctly or it isn't going to look right. If you are a fashion forward kind of person normally, then I say go for it. If you are normally an Ann Taylor shopper, I would still wear Chambray...but with colored jeans or khakis instead of traditional denim, |
+1000. Yes, this look is in and if you are remotely trendy, it is easy to pull off. See J. Crew or Madewell for inspiration. |
