| I don't look good in trench coats (belted coats just don't work for me). I bought a cute a-line style coat from Talbots in a Tiffany blue that I love. Hits just above the knee. It's not great for Fall, but I love it for Spring. FWIW, I almost never shop at Talbots for fear of showing up to work wearing the same thing as someone 20 years my senior (I'm early 30s), but needed to expand my search since a non-belted raincoat is hard to find, and was pleasantly surprised. |

A Barbour (various styles) would work fine for that if you're OK with a waxed cotton type of coat. I've had one for yrs. and re-proof it (wax it) every few yrs. in a hot steamy shower /bathroom.

Whoa child.
Nothing beats Burberry They used to have an outlet in leesburg |
| Another Boden fan here (so I guess there must be at least two of us). Boden raincoats rock. Fully waterproof, stylish (except to pp) and great for work or weekend. I get compliments from people I know and others I pass in the street. I have the rainyday Mac (last season). |
| What the hell good is a raincoat that stops 4" above your knee? Your pants/skirt get soaked! |
| Mine both go right below my knee. |
|
not sure i would want one that goes past my knee since i am short...i was thinking about this one: Patagonia Torrentshell Trench http://www.rei.com/product/809167/patagonia-torrentshell-trench-coat-womens
or something similar....my style is preppy. |
| I wear mine with skirts and dresses, so right below the knee works for me. |
I think I know this poster (I'm not kidding). She is about 40 pounds overweight and shops at Walmart and Jc Penney.

| PP here- that was mean of me! Sorry! I just couldn't resist. |
| any thoughts?? |
| Another fan of the Boden Rainy Day Mac here. |
I love them both. Thanks for posting b/c I need a rain jacket. |
I'm a fan of Boden too. I typically don't wear any store's clothing from head to toe, but they have some nice, high-quality items (love my colorful winter coat). As an added bonus, their vanity sizing isn't ridicuous like a lot of US chain stores. I don't know why the Boden hater is so angry. |
