Why are you even participating in DCUrbanMoms other than to ask about pacifiers, then. Because night wakings are kind of universal, and so it's OK that you're in Ohio. but the rest of it -- your detestable political party, the smoking, the Christian -- that can stay back in Dayton or wherever. haha OP here, I don't live in Ohio.. or Roanoke. However, I do, indeed live in VA about an hour south of DC. When I started using DCUM we lived much closer to DC in Arlington.

I am educated.. but go ahead and add grammar to my reasons why I am the worst.

If you are educated, than please explain this to me:

Why should a political party (or anyone for that matter) tell a woman what to do with her body? Why does a political party which says it wants less government feel it is necessary to be more involved in a woman's body and to determine whether or not she is allowed birth control?

Shouldn't less government = less involvement in the choices a woman makes to live her life?

Unless you are showering and brushing your teeth after every time you smoke, you are exposing your children to the toxins entering your body. Actually, even if you DO manage to do all of that, you're still exposing them. Because the toxins go into your lungs and you later breathe them out. Congrats! You're poisoning your child(ren).

I'm confused about the smoking AND fatness. Boy if could get away with smoking not killing me, I would be skinny as a rail because smoking is a huge appetite suppressant. Of course, who cares if your thin when you've died a slow painful death from lung cancer?
