When to move baby into her own room

Have you heard of the AAP?

The AAP recommends a lot of things...

Yes I have. Aren't they the ones who recommend no screen time for kids under age 2? Didn't follow that one either. They probably endorse breastfeeding too, right? Didn't do that either. My DS is doing just fine despite his upbringing

Oh yes, the group that also said the benefits of circumcision outweighed the risks?

Interesting! Thanks, I never knew this. We moved DD earlier, but maybe this time we'll wait a bit longer. I didn't realize there was an issue. I figured once they could roll over, you'd be okay.

We moved DS into his crib in his room at 11 weeks, the week before I went back to work. I slept on a sofa in his room that last week. It was a harder transition for me than it was for him.

You might want to make sure you put your tampon in the right hole next time sweetheart.

We moved our son to his crib when his little noises kept waking us up, and vice versa. We figured it was worse for him not to be sleeping (and for us not to be sleeping). That was at a little over 3 months.

Op here - this is the situation I am in. She is only nursing once a night now, so I think it is time for her to move out. Thanks to the PP who suggested the fan. I might sleep in her room on the floor until I feel comfortable leaving her alone.

We did this and it was fine. Agree with sleep sacks and no other stuff in the crib. Try a sleep positioner if you are really concerned about her staying on her back.

Here we go with the parental hysteria industrial complex again.
