Potbelly sandwiches - do you like this place?

Subway is gross, IMO, and I can't eat at Quinoz's since they did that weird ad with a dancing baby about 5 years ago.

I love potbelly, tho.

Do you mean the Quiznos spongemonkeys? They were the best thing about the place!

LOVE that video

I don't like Potbelly. Everything tastes the same to me. But the same thing for Subway. Oh well.

Has subway gone way downhill or have my standards gone up? I used to think it was pretty good but I went there recently and it was disgusting. The meat didn't seem like real meat.

The one time i went to Potbelly in Bethesda at lunchtime, there was a band (or maybe just one musician) playing SO LOUD the staff couldn't hear my order and I had to leave to avoid losing my mind.

Expensive, but good.

I know what you mean. They have one in my office building and, by default, I got there way more often than I'd prefer. Their meat is like fake meat: they just slice it really thinly off a big hunk. I don't know, I do feel like they have gone downhill as well.

I've never understood the fascination with Potbelly's and Jimmy John's. So expensive for what you get. I always think to myself, why am I buying this. I can make this at home.

Are there any good deli's around here? I'm from NYC and in search of real, high quality deli meats.

Sure, but if you're on the go and NOT at home, it's a lot better than McDonald's.

Corned Beef Row in Baltimore is the best. Lombard Street. Try Attman's.

It is much cheaper than anything else near my office. Surprised people think its expensive. I get the skinny for 4.00 and chips for 1.10.
