| To the pp wondering if people get feelings hurt? Have you ever seen a dentist, doctor, or someone else named publicly on here by someone anonymous. I sure have, do you really question weather it hurts feelings? |
But if the person is toxic and you don't care to hear what they say/think, and you are willing to go on an anonymous board to complain about them, how much do you really care if they throw a fit? In this case it seems the word "friend" is used very loosely. Life is too short. |
It can also unfairly damage their professional reputation. To do that anonymously is very cowardly. |
Okay, in that instance, you have a point. Otherwise I can't understand getting your panties in a bunch about some anonymous person calling you a moron. But I'm sure those professionals are used to getting bad reviews online though and don't have the time/don't care about all the negative crap on DCUM, Facebook, Yelp or anywhere else. Or if they do it is purely from a professional/business standpoint and then they'd be wise to hire one of these companies that manages your online reputation, and then move on. |

Professionals? What about celebrities?
Rachel Dratch from SNL in her recent book described googling her name and reading online comments about her looks. Boy, that must have hurt.. OP, I fully agree that FB friend of yours is a moron. I've always thought FB should have a 'Dislike' button, I don't know why they don't. On certain forums (on Youtube even), you get such an option. |
