ClearBlue Fertility monitor showes Peak Fertility on days 16/17/High Fertility days 18/19. Is it OK?

Yes, it automatically give you two highs after peak. By the second high, it's probably too late.

If you're ovulating on day 18/19 and have a cycle of 28 days, it means you're post-ovulation stage is 10 days long. That's not alarmingly low, but it could mean you have lower than average progesterone levels - have you had those checked?

If you're experiencing poor mucus quality, I'd look into taking Fertility Blend and reading up on other nutritional supplements recommended in Cycles, Fertility, and Nutrition.

I ovulate later than I thought was "normal" given the length of my cycle. We weren't getting pregnant the first few rounds so I tried the CBE monitor and, like you, discovered that despite my cycle length I was ovulating a hell of a lot closer to the end of the cycle. Fast forward - I still wasn't convinced that I ovulated so late -- ended up getting pregnant with our first later in my cycle when I thought ovulation had come and gone. So we're not all textbook 15 days to ovulation, which is why the monitors can be good tools. Good luck!!

Keep using the monitor as it will get more precise next month (if you're not pregnant!). I suggest getting a basal body thermometer and temping along with using the monitor. Google basal temperature charts, print one out, take your temp each morning around the same time and record the numbers. It will start showing a pattern.

Your temp will raise a bit directly following ovulation then stay raised until your period starts. So, it won't help you know when to "go for it", but it will help you to be sure your cycles are healthy and also to to see if the monitor is coiniciding with the (slight) temp rise after ovulation.

Good luck!

When did you have intercourse over the 13-16 days? Every other? Or on peak days? Thanks! Mine seems to align with you!

Hi All, I have a 29 day cycle, on one month I ovulate around the 14/15th day which is fine, the following month is completely irregular. First I ovulated around day 17/18 which was fine - now I have had high estrogen levels since day 12 - I'm on day 19 and they are still high - it hasn't showed that I am peaking yet - is it bad to have such late ovulation? Any ideas on how I can regulate when I ovulate? Thanks so much in advance

After your first peak day, the monitor automatically gives you one more peak and then two highs. Many women will actually just re-use the test stick from their first peak since those sticks are expensive.

A luteal phase of 11-12 days is fine. Do you have many days of spotting before your period begins? Pre-seed can help if you feel like you don't have much ewcm.

You might also want to start temping. I used the monitor for about a year before I began temping. When I temped I found that I ovulated on the first peak day. The directions say that you will ovulate 24-48 hours after your first peak. Many months I would abstain from sex on the first peak so husband would have plenty of sperm and have sex second peak day. I really needed to have sex on my last high day so the sperm would be waiting. I ditched the monitor and turned to wondfo OPK's.
