No he wasn't part of the tea party or a conservative Republican. |
He was and still is. |
I am not the PP but I think she is referencing servicemen and women killed in the Iraq war. Some estimates are well above 3,000. |
Yeah, thank George Bush and Dick Cheney for that! |
No he is not. |
And all of the many Democrats as well as Republicans in Congress who supported the war, including Hilary Clinton. I am a Democrat, but it is silly to blame the Iraq war solely on Bush/Cheney. Few Democrtas had the courage to vote against the funding of the war in particular. |
Pp here. Oh, I agree with you on that. Both Democrats and Republicans were spineless and deserve our contempt. But the leadership came from Bush and Cheney, who also managed to convince the majority of Americans that Saddam was behind 9/11. (Nothing like saying: "9/11, never again!" and then showing Saddam's picture and making the case for invasion. No they never actually said Saddam engineered 9/11 but they knew perfectly well that that was the message Americans took away from that.) Without their leadership, this wouldn't have happened. Gore would not have invaded Iraq, for example. So Bush and Cheney are the biggest villains in my book. |
Agreed |
+1 Bush and Cheney lied to the public and to Congress about the evidence that brought us to war. |
They still love her in MN. Politic say support is high.
I can't be residents of MN are enthralled by this whack job http://www.politico.com/news/stories/0712/78830.html |
I guarantee you that Michelle Bachmann had no idea that the Muslim Brotherhood existed until two years ago when she heard it on Fox. |
Right wing conservatives who want to ban abortion even in cases of rape and incest, and who want women to think of a pregnancy that results from rape/incest as "a gift from God" (Rick Santorum) are scary.
Republicans who say that women who are raped shouldn't have any medical insurance cover an abortion and that they should "plan ahead" and pay for abortion insurance ![]() Requiring women to undergo unnecessary medical procedures that are ordered by the court (to get an abortion) and not by their physicians are scary. Islamic extremists and Christian extremists (Republicans) both seek to control women's bodies and rights. Sounds like two sides of the same coin to me. |
The sever Right wingers scare me much worse that the Islamic fundamentalists. I'm not joking. |

Timothy McVeigh was a right-wing conservative. Terry Nichols was a right-wing conservative. Eric Rudolph is a right-wing conservative. Joseph Martin Bailie is a right-wing conservative. Benjamin Matthew Williams and James Tyler Williams are right-wing conservatives. Each of these people (and there are many more) killed people in the name of their twisted ideology, just as the Islamic terrorists did. A whole host of others tried but were caught before they succeeded. You can read about it here: http://www.splcenter.org/get-informed/publications/terror-from-the-right |
