I think this key quote explains EXACTLY how Romney plays this:

“You know, I don't agree with all the people who support me and my guess is they don't all agree with everything I believe in,” Romney said. “But I need to get 50.1% or more and I'm appreciative to have the help of a lot of good people.”

I don't know how to say it any clearer. He disagrees with these crazies. But he wants their votes, and he likes that they are helping him.

What staggers me most about this quote is he doesn't even understand how the electoral system works. I'd be more than happy to concede him 50.1% of the vote right now if he'll agree to let Barack Obama have 270 electoral college votes.

Unemployment is over 8 percent, gas is around 3.25 a gallon, and the real estate market is stagnant. Things are so fucked up that illegals are actually returning home.
