+1 on the Duet DHA as long as you take it with food. I felt a bit nauseous taking it in the morning. But now take it right after dinner with no problems at all. |
I've had a good experience with the RiteAid generic brand, which happens to be the exact same formulation as the ones carried in the Kaiser Permanente pharmacy. I take them in the morning with breakfast and haven't had any problems. |
Stuart Prenatal. There's a generic of it that's exactly the same thing but a lot cheaper. Smallish, not puke-inducing. |
Another vote for the Target brand.
My doctor's office gave me some that were NASTY and I asked my girlfriend to pick me up some Target ones (which I used for my first pregnancy). They work well for me. |
I third the Primacare One recommendation. I have been on them months before we actually conceived and I never have had a nauseous moment from the vitamins, even during my first trimester when everything else made me nauseous. I also take iron supplements in the evening since I'm vegetarian but I have had no problems at all. Talk to your OB or midwife about this. |
fyi - the Stuart Prenatal generic is carried at RiteAid. (and the Kaiser pharmacy.) |
I take Duet-DHA at night with no problems too. |
