What sort of top to wear with the new clingy/stretchy mini skirts?

Ugh. You fatties are so unhelpful. Sorry, OP. I think it's a great look if you have the figure for it. Keep the top more conservative and I would go with shoes similar to the ones shown or some other type of flat.

Fattie here and saw these in the Juniors Plus section at Macys. Fat girls wear 'em too. Thanks.

I'm not at all fat. There are much better reasons not to wear that skirt. Like having taste and being old enough to vote.

Op, I like those types of skirts (26 here) but I'm not sure I care for that one....or maybe just how it fits on the model. Anyways, Victoria's secret has some cute ones that look pretty awesome with a loose fitting top. I would definitely buy one if I went out with my girlfriends more but doesn't really seem like the outfit I'd wear out shopping or a casual dinner with dh. But maybe I'm just getting old and boring lol. I'll stick to my Victoria's secret sundresses

Ok Im pretty sure I'm going to buy this one for lounging around/hanging out (I'm pretty sure that it isn't that short/ I'm short. However, if it is I will return it)

But this is the one I'd really like to buy but not sure I'd get much use out of it

That brown thing is NASTY.

And OP, I am thin and I would NOT wear that skirt. I agree with all the other posters - it's fine if you're in high school or college. As my friend's mom used to say, "After that, you need to class up your act!"

Not in that color, but maybe a different one would look ok. Not sure, haha check back with me tomorrow

I like that. I think I am going to steal it.

Victoria secret clothes are not for respectable, grown women. No, your don't have to be a matron, but that shizz is just plain slutty.

What sort of top would look good?

Unless you're 14-18, I don't think it's appropriate.

It used to be called a tube top in my day.

It's not about being fat vs. being skinny.

It's about being a skank. You got that, Skank PP?

I love bandage skirts. Sure I don't wear them to pick up the kids from school (lol), but for out at night, they look great if you have nice legs. But yeah, I prefer a looser top or a boyfriend blazer on top.
