| FWIW, I bought a wetbelly suit for my baby when he started swim classes because everyone said he'd get cold. Never used it, and never saw any other kid wearing one. You may want to see how the first class goes and whether its needed before paying for one. |

It depends on the pool (whether it's cold or not). I used to take my DS to swim lessons at Spring Hill Rec in McLean and they kept the water VERY warm (it was like bath water! Great!!). I haven't been for about a year, so I don't know if they keep it that warm anymore. It was nice because most of the people using the pool were elderly exercise groups or baby swim classes.
