I'm crazy brand loyal, but I like to think it's after years of not being brand loyal and developing preferences over the years. I'm probably a marketers wet dream. oh well.

It's been fun to see what other people are loyal to.

Some favorites:
Jiff
Canada Dry Ginger Ale
Bobbie Brown makeup
Kenneth Cole Shoes
Ziploc Bags
Ikea Furniture
Amazon for online shopping

I vastly prefer Diet Coke to Diet Pepsi. I prefer to use Yardley oatmeal bath soap - it just feels nice. And I'm picky about Dental floss. (Reach is best.) Gel toothpaste is vastly superior to paste in my book. And I'll likely buy another Acura when mine starts to go downhill.

Other than that I'm pretty chill.

I'm skeptical of stores brands, but I've never been disappointed by the Wegmans store brand. Will buy it for almost anything.

Anonymous wrote:Not really into brands but always buy Arm & Hammer toothpaste, San Marzano canned tomatoes, and Subaru. We could afford almost any "luxury" car but I love my Outback. DH can have the expensive car. Everything else, I just buy whatever. My parents will ask me about brands and more often than not I can't even remember what I bought.

Why do people need to point out they "can afford" a luxury item but choose not to. Are we supposed to be impressed?
