India is in Asia. They are Asian. Well caucasion too...sometimes....

Kind of like Hispanics, they could be white, black or oriental too. So we have a special category for them and they don't have to pick a color.

But we don't have enough Indians for a special class so they have to pick one of the others. But...then how do we know if there a lot?

I know someone who is 1/8 black and uses "African American" on all their applications to college. She looks totally white, but she has been accepted to some pretty impressive colleges.

Good for her. There are very strict rules for when the percentage is too much or too little, unfortunatly no one knows what they are....

If I was descended from South Afrikkaners, I'd also check the "African-American" box. Because it would be accurate. Even though I'm as pink as it gets.
