i'm the OP. i don't care if you do or don't shave, but i've never thought of shaving as a big deal and i was honestly curious as to why some women do/don't. i actually thought that getting nicks and cuts was part of it, but i see that it's not. i don't think it's unhygenic not to shave, but i do think it's a little nasty to see full-on hair on a woman's legs, but i don't "care." and you're right, i don't cook full-on meals every night. it's priorities -- and comfort, at least for me.
I hate shaving and at times in my life have gone the hairy route. That said, I was more comfortable when my legs were shaven, so I forked up the $$ about 12 years ago and did laser hair removal. My legs have been wonderfully hairless since and I only pick up a razor to do my pits (FWIW I also lasered my bikini area so no shaving or waxing there either, which is fabulous). That said, to each her own. I lived long enough abroad to appreciate that shaving truly is cosmetic and it really doesn't matter if a gal is hairy or not.
Man here. Some of us think unshaved pits are sexy just FYI
Lesbian here. Ditto.
