Is there a job where you make crazy money but do not work long hours?

How is being an heir/heiress "work"? All one has to do is manage assets, and probably employs someone to do so.

Who does that anymore? Technology has come a long way, even for prostitutes. The wonderful world of the internet equals clients.

The ones not making enough to afford computers.

The Johns and pimps should be thrown in jail, their name and crimes publicized and all their financial assets and jobs given to the prostitute.

Because the prostitutes are that much better than the pimps and johns?

Yes they are!

I'll go first:

Teacher

Are you a teacher?

I am!

Yes. Worked 11 hours today. Anticipate working several hours this weekend. But right now, enjoying my gin and tonic.

My favorite drink is a gin and tonic! must be a teacher thing!

Not PP (I'm OP) but I would say it's work if you are left to control the empire. You can assign people to do all the hard work though. Athletes would be out because of the training hours and actors may be in though.

I am the owner of a self sustaining company that brings in pretty good income (nothing crazy) and I do not really put in long hours anymore. I did... A lot in its infancy but now I log maybe 35 hours a week, sometimes less.

The only jobs like that aren't really jobs.

If you create something of tremendous value (a software program, work of art or literature, invention) you can sell it for a ton of money. But that is not a "job" that you can apply to. It requires incredible talent, a unique insight, luck, or some combination of those.

The other route is to do illegal things. But it turns out that many of the ones you might expect (prostitution, drugs) aren't as profitable as imagined. Most of them do not clear a lot of money, and the few who do are not able to do it for very long. Then there is the risk of incarceration or death.

Your best bet is to find a profession where you can make crazy money after years of hard work, and then do that.

Lobbying. I know many lobbyists who high six or even seven figure salaries and never work more than 40 hours a week. Most lawyers would have to put in at least 80 hours a week to make that kind of salary.

To those who say prostitutes are "as bad" as Johns and pimps...

You need to educate yourself on the topic. A majority of prostitutes are victims of sex trafficking. Many are teens or very young adults. There is a non-profit in the city that provides a crisis center with hot meals, beds, therapy, and assistance in getting off the streets and into a normal life. They have volunteers that walk through our city at night to find them and try to convince them to accept their help. Most of the are too psychologically affected to realize they can escape their situation and refuse to leave or are too frightened of retribution by their handlers.

And yes...most were born in the US.

You've got to work your butt off to make a name for yourself before you can even think about being a high profile lobbyist who makes big money.

A full-time female porn star will usually take home around $100,000 per year, but can easily make up to $250,000 per year. This isn’t including extras such as appearances, signings, and strip shows.

Males generally earn less than female porn stars, and the average male gets around $300 – $400 per scene. Beginner usually get between $100 to $200 per scene. The average male porn star earns around $40,000 per year, although some of the more popular and in demand male porn stars can earn up to $100,000 per year.
