Am I Republican, Democrat, Independent, or just plain confused?

Do you not have any economic views?

Being vegetarian or religious are not political positions.

Lots of people in both parties are pro-gay-rights.

These positions don't place you anywhere by themselves.

Hmm, how about the fact that he/she is pro-life? OP, if you think abortion should be illegal then you are not a Democrat, sorry!

The majority leader of the Senate -- eg. the leading Congressional Democrat -- is pro-life. Tim Kane who headed the DNC and is now running for Senate in Virginia is pro-life. These are leading Democrats who have a position on abortion similar to the OP's.
