| It will be a big deal if the physician doesn't know what he/she is doing. Just be sure to check them out first! |
| It is OK to use Groupon. I am a dermatologist and used Groupon. Just check out the doctor first. I have been injecting Botox for 8 years, about 5 a day with only one lid drop in that time. I just enjoy making people look better! But be careful, make sure the Doctor uses Botox and not a Chinese or European knock-off. Ask to examine the vial for the hologram. Remember, often the doctor is losing money, if using the real thing! |
Wow, it's scary that docs do that! I never would have thought to check to make sure it's real. Thanks for the warning. |
| Best thing I've ever done, on so many levels. People are jerks. So if you ask people.....you get what you get! |
| What does botox feel like? Is there really a sensation of stiffness or not being able to move your face? I have an anxious nature and fear that I will panic with the sense of not being able to control my face for an extended period of time. |
Not true, you are an effing idiot to even think that. It is not permanent and you don't "need it less and less." However, you can go longer than 3-4 months. The wrinkles slowly come back. Feasibly, you could stretch it out to every 6-9 months depending on your budget and preference. But, DO use numbing cream. The pp who doesn't need it is brave. |
What do you call the guy that was at the bottom of his medical school class and just barely scraped through residency/boards? DOCTOR. |
| I do it regularly, but through a reputable plastic surgeon. Would be hesitant to do it through Groupon or an OBGYN's back office, but I do have a few friends who have done it through Groupon and look fabulous. One of the big issues customers deal with is getting watered down Botox, which doesn't last as long. Ask this question. |
