Gay, why is it not considered a mental illness, what would darwin think of gays

I definitely think it runs in families and we all fall somewhere on the pure hetero to pure homsexual continuum. While if you are somewhere in the middle it might be easier to do what society wouldn't give you grief for, I think some people are born homosexual and GOD created them that way. As lady Gaga says in her song "Born this Way" God makes no mistakes (well God makes mistakes in creating criminals and abusers and such) but when it comes to being gay I think God makes no mistakes and I'm not even religious and I'm not gay. I just think my gay peers deserve as much respect as I do. I have no problem with people loving eachother, my problem is with the haters.

14:30 again...I think Darwin would look at Gay people and think well they are here for a reason and I believe I read there are even gay animals. Darwin might be fascinated, but I doubt he would think those who are gay are inferior. I think until the end of time there will be latently gay people procreating and thus there will always be people who are gay.

Again...I see no problem with 2 people loving eachother no matter as long as everyone is the age of consent, my problem is with haters.

There is no such behavior in animals. When the female is in heat some of the estrus can end up on the male which will trigger other males to "mate" with it.

Animal breeders know this. Bull breeders know you can put estrus on a decoy and the bull will mate with it.

But activists, trying to rationalize and defend their aberrant behavior, concoct stories about it being natural to make themselves feel better.

And I agree with a PP who stated molestation probably continued the cycle. The flailing, "stuck pig" response of 17:12 tells me a bit of truth was revealed and someone did not like it one bit.

Are there female gay animals or just male? I can definitely see the behavior in males. With females, not so much. Any examples?
