Agree with this and would add that it is very easy for everyone to point their fingers at the ADHD label as being the cause of all problems. Medication might seem like it is helping at first - and may indeed improve some short term functioning - but it will not directly address the underlying learning issue(s). You will also want to get testing done by someone with experience with dyslexia. Call a school like Lab, Siena, or Summit for a list of evaluators.
