Medication might seem like it is helping at first - and may indeed improve some short term functioning - but it will not directly address the underlying learning issue(s). You will also want to get testing done by someone with experience with dyslexia. Call a school like Lab, Siena, or Summit for a list of evaluators.[/quote]
