Day care violation

All daycare homes in Fairfax County have to be licensed if you are watching one child, other than your own and getting paid for it. It is a misdemeanor to operate without one. I am an in the same boat as another poster. I am no allowed to have more than five, other than my own, so I stick with the county level. We have training and classes, inspections - it's just not worth it to go through everything else to have a state license. I would gladly give any clients a copy of my last review. I worked for someone with a state license once and she did get away with a lot - but also got written up for "not having tweezers in the first aide kit."
