In-home daycare - what do you pay?

$6-$7/hour would be fair,esp. since she is also watching her two children and they would mostly likely get most of the attention.

we pay $225 weekly for infant care available from 8-6pm. There are 5 infants and 2 providers. I feel like I have a bargain. This is in Arlington.

I think the OPs situation is quite different. All of the posters here go to actual in-home businesses. We all pay a lower rate b/c the childcare providers are dealing in volume. Sounds like the OP it taking her child to something that more resembles a babysitter or nanny. I think low end nanny rates would be appropriate. 10-12/hr.
