What gift did you get this year that is going in the "Re-Gift" pile?

I received a total of 3 gifts this Christmas, all gift cards. None will be regifted.

This year he got twelve cop ornaments. He has gotten cop bibles, wall hangings and bumper stickers. Funny thing is he is a undercover drug detective. He does not advertise his "cop" status!

I'm sorry, but I find this absolutely hilarious. I'd probably do the same thing if my brother was a cop.

Knee high toe socks with faux fur at the top. I'm in my late 20's. Not even sure anyone at goodwill will want them.

I think it's funny, too.

I generally don't regift. If I don't like something then I won't give it to someone else! The one exception is gift cards. Mostly I'll regift them because 1) I didn't have time to use it and 2) I didn't have time to buy someone something else.

DD is 28 and she would LOVE these socks!

Really? Not my thing at all. She's welcome to them.

Anything shower gel, lotion, massage related. Foodstuff and treats, sadly there are very few things we actually consume because of our health. Basically, any "stuff" is just more "stuff". Would rather a generic gift card, at least it is easier to donate if we need to. This is not to say we are not very lucky to have nice gift givers.

A gift certificate for car washes and a restaurant (combined promo) that can only be used in DH's and my home city and surrounding areas. ILs always get us this same thing- and every year I give them to my brother or cousin or mom....

This thread is hilarious
My uncle is a priest, we always get him a cross, apparently so did my 3 cousins. So how many crosses can 1 priest use?
He was very sweet about it, but once I realized how many he got I had to laugh, maybe he will regift them!
Next year I will have to rethink this

I already regifted a Ninja Food Processor. We never opened the one that the same person gave us last year, so we really didn't need another. I was going to donate, but as I told the story at a party, a friend's eyes lit up, so off it went. Now I just have one pointless cheap gadget to donate.

Why is it funny? It is almost like mocking him. You wouldn't buy your corporate lawyer brother cheesy knicknacks making fun of his profession, would you?

First PP here, and yes, I would. But that's the sort of family we have, it's all in good fun.

Right, it was funny the first five years, but now it is getting old.
