We like the Hannah Andersson ones for my DS also. They're tagless and don't have that annoying band that some of the other brands have (Gymboree). Plus, they are crazy soft and hold up well.

Another ringing endorsement for Hanna unders. DS has worn several pairs for years- the sizing is generous and they only show wash fading. I wish I could wear them.

Carters boxer briefs have worked (2 in a pack for about $8). We recently bought the Hannah Anderssons and my son LOVES them! He wanted to wear the one pair continuously so I ordered a few pairs. They are expensive ($11 each if you buy 2 or more). Although expensive I think they will hold up well.
