Yes that's rude, and sad those people can't go for a few hours in the morning without a drink.

Leave the wedding and tie one on if a person must. You don't bring alcohol to a no alcohol wedding.

Ah, that is what young guys do. We used to get bombed before the wedding, even if the reception were to have open bars.
But why does the OP care?
