| I think 9 days past O is still early. Early enough to see a line, but still early. Still, a line is a line. There is nothing you can do, so try not to worry about it. Congrats! |
| Thanks all! At 12 DPO I still get a positive but the line is still pretty light. All my other pregnancies (some lasted, some not) had darker lines by now. I'm going to spend time on the website 17:09 gave, so thanks again. |
| My fingers are crossed for you OP! It's hard not to read a lot into the darkness of the line, so try not to stress yourself too much. How long is your LP, usually? |
9 to 10 days so I've definitely missed my period. |
| OP - good luck, I hope it's the real deal! One month I had phantom lines (only appear when you check the test in the trash or when you hold the test up to the window) with FRER and it was a negative test. But the fact that you haven't had your period yet and can see the line is a great sign! |

Thanks everyone, I really appreciate the support. It looks like a chemical pregnancy for me this time around. Faint faint lines at 13 DPO and I just don't feel pregnant anymore.
I don't regret testing early because I am gathering data. If I am getting but not staying pregnant, that is useful to know. |
| Oh, I'm so sorry OP. It happened to me last cycle too. You have a great perspective on it. |
This happened to me - probably about 6-8 times. I'm sorry to hear it if it is the case. I found a new OB (not an RE b/c I wasn't ready for that yet) and they put me on B vitamins and baby aspirin (yes, even before pg, and then later during). I also did the progesterone suppositories the second I got a BFP. I know everyone is different but I hope that helps. |
Which B vitamins and in what amount? I've gotten conflicting advice on this. |
|
OP again, what the hell? I had a negative test this morning, no line at at with FMU and a First Response test. Then I had a very faint line later in the morning, which I took to be residual.
I was about to go buy a bottle of wine and decided to take my last test. It's positive. Darker than this morning but lighter than yesterday. What does this mean?? How can I get a negative test with FMU and a positive in the late afternoon? Should I just assume it is the hcg leaving my system? |
| Now I am thinking ectopic. I'm going to my OB tomorrow. |
| Have you just tried the digital- pregnant or not pregnant? Ectopic pregnancies usually result in a lot of bad cramping..any other symptoms? |
Yeah, I'm the person who is further confused by getting consistent positives on digitals but negatives or almost nothing on non-digital First Response. It's crazy! We've now done two blood draws so when I get confirmation that it is chemical, I can move on to next cycle. If I get pain or the numbers just sit there, my OB will look for ectopic. I really don't want to get ectopic symptoms over the holidays. |
