Good quality women's wallet?

What are you women doing to your wallets?! Mine are all in great condition and the most I've ever spent on one was $20.

When I first read the topic of your post, I was so excited to tell you about how well my coach leather wallet has withstood abuse over the past 25 years. It is still in perfect condition. My mom bought it for me while I was in college and it's a staple in my purse. I'm sorry yours has not worked out!!

Wallets get a lot of abuse, I wouldn't spend a lot on one.

This is the exact reason I DO spend more on my wallet and bags. I wear these items every day and need durability/quality. You can spend $400-$500 on a wallet that will last you years, or $50-$100 on a mediocre wallet that you'll have to replace after one year of use.

What in the hell do you DO to your wallets? I've had $25 wallets that have lasted years! no rips/scratches, zippers and snaps still functioning

You can attempt to rationalize your spending all you want, but you certainly cannot convince me that it's a MUST to go overboard.

Just because it's overboard to you does not mean that it's overboard for PP. If she can clearly afford it, there's no overboard. The world does not revolve around you. Step outside your bubble once in awhile and you will find that some people earn more, can afford more and they are still very nice people.

She needs to step outside her bubble? To the world where people spend $500 on wallets?

Stay inside your bubble, PP.

Thank you PP. I still consider myself a nice, grounded person even though I spend money on my wallet. Wow, there are some very angry-sounding people on here. Happy Holidays!

And, by the way, one of the reasons I suggested Prada is because the OP had a Coach wallet she was not happy with .. so clearly she is not looking for a $20 wallet. I understand that many people cannot or would not want to spend this kind of a cash on a wallet or purse, and I certainly do not judge these people. Grow up.

Toots, you do realize that "grow up" is thrown around by high school kids. I hear it each day/

doesn't do much to support your claim

I've always said that death is the great leveler. So unless I find out that there's a Prada store in the afterlife, I'll stick to my mid-range wallets.

I was happy with a zip around Ferragamo one for 10 years. It was $200+ 10 years ago. I had bought a Coach and no sooner did the snap break off after I put my stuff in it. never again. I'd buy another Ferragamo.

I also love my Ferragamo wallet. It's about 7 years old. Still looks new.

New poster. This makes no sense whatsoever. If HS students say fuck you, are we supposed to stop with that too?

I have a Burberry wallet that has lasted for years and is still beautiful. I know many people with the LV wallets and those are really durable, but personally I do not like the LV logo.

Have you tried taking your Coach wallet bact to Coach and see if they'll repair it or give you credit towards a new one? Maybe you just got a dud since some of the PPs are happy with theirs.
