Salty Buttercream:

1 lb. very soft unsalted butter you can use half shortening
2 lbs. sifted powdered sugar
milk
vanilla
sea salt
Cream butter very well in mixer, add sifted sugar a half cup at a time until it is at the sweetness you like.
Add teaspoon of vanilla, or more if you like
add milk teaspoon at a time and beat very fast with mixer until it is light and fluffy and a good consistency for your needs.
At the very end sprinkle in 1/4 tsp at a time of sea salt to give a very delicate salty/sweet flavor. There will be a little crunch to it from the salt. Tastes awesome on dark chocolate cake.
