Ow exactly do you bury the commentary of msnbc's anchor? Seriously you are living in a paranoid alternate universe. |
The timing of the airing. |
Little or no coverage of his tirade by media. They jump all over the story when a Rep jumps on a Rep--not true here. |
LOL MSNBC has about a dozen viewers? However, that said, what Chris Matthews does or doesn't say is immaterial to me. Zzzzz... |
Get your head out of Rupert Murdoch's ass and you might be surprised at what you see and hear. |
I am definitely seeing sunshine. What I am not seeing is any mention of this rant on mainstream liberal media outlets. That doesn't surprise me. I do find it interesting that this event has been largely ignored when so much coverage has been given to his support of O. |
+1 |
I'm sorry, somehow I missed this - could you explain how this happened to me? Did he fire a bunch of his staff and replace them with Clintonites, or something? |
Hate to break it to you but a pundits comments are not news events. Unless he said something outrageous like say Rush would do, it isn't news. I know you are dying for anything negative about Obama to be trumpeted from the heavens, but face facts-- you don't watch this guy, so you never thought much of his opinions before. Now you are a fan of convenience. |
You nailed it, Takoma! Thanks! |
You have a funny idea about turn taking. Did you learn that at daycare? |
And that is where you are wrong. All of the media is so biased that it is necessary to watch/read multiple outlets to try to discern what the truth isn on any matter. However, to be intellectually honest, if a fox pundit turned on a rupub pres while he was in office the left would be blasting it everywhere. |
BTW, no one is commenting on what Mathews actually said, just that he is insignificant. |
My response is "Big deal!" He does not like the O's style. He says the policy is fine, but the pres doesn't use his bully pulpit. He's right, I suppose, and Reagan sure proved that style is important, but that's not what I would call a "slam". A slam is "The President should be impeached for ordering the assassination of American citizens." "The President should telephone members of Congress" is minor criticism, and I think it would be hopeless navel-gazing for the networks to make a big deal out of Chris Matthews' tactical advice. |
So then you have to ask yourself why Fox and Rush aren't doing their jobs. After all that is what your analogy requires. |
